Pine Forest Studio is an modern recording facility located just east of Santa Cruz, California in the town of Aptos. We are a friendly yet fully-equipped studio that provides quality work for our customers at affordable rates. We have a combination of vintage analog microphones, preamps, and outboard along with today’s most current DAW technology. It truly is the best of both worlds!

We specialize in any styles of music that can benefit from a great sounding acoustic environment. From folk and bluegrass to hard rock and heavy metal. When instruments sound great in the room, they sound great on the CD.

We'll work with entire bands that want to produce an entire album, or session musicians that just need to record overdubs and send the files somewhere else. 

At Pine Forest Studio we strive to bring the fun back to recording. Our engineers know how to get down to business and crank out an awesome sounding record but we also feel that a recording session should be enjoyable and comfortable with an at-home atmosphere.
